The Kaylewell Pears has sprouted orchards of Callaway families from England across the United States. Within my root-stock is a Jewel... my Great-Great Aunt Jewel who strove to preserve our tart heritage. She is the inspiration for this blog.
Family research will remain on hiatus until my Ph.D. is complete. I have no set deadline but I wouldn't expect to see another post here for at least another year or two. I look forward to the time when I am finished and can return to my roots.
